Since launch, Buy Box Checker has watched one marketplace: amazon.com. That made sense, because the US is where most of our sellers live. But a lot of you sell on both sides of the Atlantic, and every week someone asked the same question: can you watch my international listings too?
As of today, yes, three times over. The United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland are live, and each works exactly the way the US does. You create a brand, tell us the storefront name that should own the Buy Box, paste in ASINs, and pick the locations you care about. The Badger does the rest: continuous checks, instant alerts, hijacker detection, product page change tracking, rank history, and the daily digest, all UK-aware.
Why the UK needed more than a currency swap
Supporting new marketplaces properly is more than pointing the tracker at different domains. The same machinery now handles all three countries. Amazon UK writes dates the British way, so "Thursday, 30 July" has to parse as a real delivery promise, not noise. Postcodes look like "W1A 1AA", not 90210. Prices are pounds, not dollars, all the way down to the alert messages we send you. And the location map had to become a map of Great Britain, because plotting London on a map of Texas helps nobody.
We also rebuilt how brands work under the hood. A brand now belongs to a marketplace, and you can group a brand's US and UK versions together on your dashboard. Their ASINs, history, and alerts stay separate, because Amazon runs each country as its own catalog with its own Buy Box, but you see them side by side.
What we found on day one
While testing the UK launch, we pointed a brand at a well-known outdoor gear label on amazon.co.uk. Three listings, three different stories, all in the first scan:
- One listing was healthy: the brand's official European storefront held the Buy Box at £42 with two-day delivery.
- One was lost to a grey importer: a third-party seller shipping US stock held the UK Buy Box at £69, a hefty markup the brand never sees and an experience it does not control.
- One was suppressed: no Buy Box at all, just "See All Buying Options", which quietly kills conversion.
That is the whole pitch in one screenshot. If a brand this established has a grey importer and a suppressed listing on amazon.co.uk, it is worth asking what your UK catalog looks like right now. Most sellers watching only Seller Central's national numbers would never see either problem.
How to start tracking your UK listings
- Click Add Brand and choose United Kingdom, Canada, or Ireland in the new country picker.
- Enter your storefront name exactly as it appears under "Sold by" in the Buy Box.
- Paste in your ASINs and pick locations: the big cities in each country are one click, and exact postcodes work too.
- That's it. First results land within minutes, and your maps, alerts, and daily digest take it from there.
All three marketplaces are available on every paid plan today, which means every English-language Amazon marketplace is now supported. More countries are coming one at a time. Frequently asked questions
Do I need a seller account in each country to track it?
No. Buy Box Checker reads public product pages, so there is no Seller Central login or API connection for any marketplace. You can monitor your own listings or any competitor's in the UK, Canada, or Ireland the moment you paste in the ASINs.
Does international tracking cost extra?
No. A check is a check: one ASIN in one location is one check against your plan, whether that location is Austin, London, Toronto, or Dublin. International marketplaces require a paid plan; the free plan covers US tracking only.
Which cities can I track in each country?
UK: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol. Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa. Ireland: Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Limerick. Or enter any exact postcode in any of them. Each location is checked separately, with its own delivery dates and its own place on that country's map.
Can the same brand track listings in several countries together?
Yes. Each brand you create belongs to one marketplace, and you can group a brand's US, UK, Canadian, and Irish versions together so they sit side by side on your dashboard. ASINs, history, rank tracking, and alerts stay separate per country because Amazon runs them as separate catalogs.
What about other Amazon marketplaces like Canada or Germany?
